Who is responsible

The party responsible for data processed through the Service is the operator of ranked.sh. Privacy requests and questions go to t.me/cosmicgilgamesh on Telegram or @cosmicgilgamesh on X.

What we collect

Ranked has no accounts, no sign-up, and no passwords. We collect only what is needed to run the board, credit payments, stop abuse, and understand traffic.

• Payments. You pay from your own wallet to the treasury address in a transaction you sign. That transaction, your wallet address, the amount, and the token are recorded on the public blockchain by its nature, not by us, and are visible to anyone. We read the chain to credit the payment and store the transaction identifier, the paying address, the amount, and the listing it was for.
• Claims. When you start a claim we store what you entered (a token, URL, or @handle), the category, the amount, and the chain and token you chose, so the payment can be matched to the listing you meant.
• Clicks. When you follow a listing from the board, we record the listing, the time, and a salted hash of your IP address and browser identifier. The hash limits duplicate counts and abuse; we do not store the address itself and cannot recover it from the hash.
• Browser storage. Your browser keeps which claim you were confirming (so a reload can resume it) and which payment rail you last chose. Neither identifies you and neither is sent to us as a tracking identifier.
• Technical data. Standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and referrer is processed by our hosting provider to serve and secure the site. Where analytics is enabled, it runs cookieless and reports aggregate visits.
• Messages you send us. If you contact us with a notice or request, we keep that correspondence as needed to respond and to keep a record.

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking cookies. The only cookies the Service uses belong to the administration area and are set only for administrators who sign in there.

Wallet connections

Connecting a wallet uses the Reown (WalletConnect) service and your wallet software. Those providers see your wallet address and the connection request and are governed by their own privacy notices. We do not receive your private keys, and we cannot move your funds.

Public listings

Ranks, amounts paid, listing names, images, descriptions, destination links, and the transactions behind them are public. Anyone can see them, including search engines. Do not list a destination if you do not want that information shown. To show a listing we fetch public metadata from the destination you submit (the site, the X profile, or public market and safety data about a token); that fetch may disclose to the destination that ranked.sh requested the page.

Why we use this data

• To credit payments, create or raise listings, and show rank: the service you asked for.
• To keep the board fair (rate limits, duplicate-click limits, blocked domains), to display public listing metadata, to measure visits, to debug outages, and to defend legal claims.
• To keep records where the law requires it.

Who we share data with

• Hosting, database, and cache providers, so the site can run.
• Blockchain node providers we use to read the payment chains, which see the addresses and transactions we look up.
• Reown (WalletConnect), for wallet connections.
• Public data sources we query to describe a listing: the listed website, X, and token market and safety services such as DexScreener, GoPlus, and CoinGecko.
• Professional advisers, authorities, or a successor operator of the Service where we must share data to comply with law, enforce the Terms, or transfer the project.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

• Payment records stay as long as the listing they credited exists and as long as needed for accounting and dispute handling. The transaction itself is permanent on its blockchain and is outside our control.
• Public listing entries stay while the listing is on the board and may remain in backups or activity history for a limited time after a takedown.
• Click records and hashes are kept only as long as useful for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and aggregate counts.
• Claims that were never paid expire and are removed.

Your rights

Where the law gives you rights over personal data, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or export what we hold, or to restrict or object to certain processing. Contact us via t.me/cosmicgilgamesh on Telegram or @cosmicgilgamesh on X; we may need enough information to find the data. Data recorded on a public blockchain cannot be altered or deleted by us. Public listing content that also appears on your own website or X profile is not made private by being removed from the board, but you can ask us to remove the listing.

Children

The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the data we can identify.

Changes

We may update this policy when the Service or the law changes. The date at the top of this page is the current version. If a change is material, we will post the updated policy here.
